Know what each check means

Locaylo reviews identity documents before a professional profile becomes public. Some services require additional evidence. Public liability cover is optional for ordinary categories and appears on a profile only when its evidence has been reviewed and is current.

A check is not a guarantee of workmanship or insurance for every job.

A simple 10% fee

Locaylo's ordinary platform fee applies to paid bookings and is deducted from the professional's share of the agreed service price.

  • Customers pay no separate Locaylo platform fee. The 10% is deducted from the agreed service price, not added to the checkout total.
  • For example, if the agreed service price is £100, the ordinary split is £90 to the professional and £10 to Locaylo.
  • Locaylo covers standard payment processing costs within its 10% fee, with no separate ordinary processing deduction from the professional's share.
